  Very good for bulk buying. Despite needing a membership to purchase at the store, Costco includes a food court, electronics section, bakery, butcher, frozen foods, dried foods, snacks, cleaning items, medicine, and clothes sections. Along with this on some days they provide samples of their products that you can try for free and purchase if you like. With a membership you may also fill your gas at their gas station which has very good prices. Overall, the store's staff is average; however, I haven't had any trouble with them personally.
